Mike completed his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at the University of Scranton, where he also went on to earn a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. While in school, Mike played on the baseball team, served as an assistant collegiate baseball coach, and interned with the San Francisco Giants organization.
A Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Mike is also certified as a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Level 1 Medical Professional - specialized training that enables him to design and implement off-season and in-season strength training programs, analyze players golf swings, and diagnose common injuries associated with golf.
Originally from Cranford, Mike developed an interest in physical therapy after suffering an ankle injury while playing high school baseball, which required extensive rehabilitation after surgery. It was this experience that inspired Mike to help athletes return to play and help individuals through Physical Therapy. After completing a specialized course at HSS, Mike became a HSS Rehabilitation Baseball Overhead Athlete Certified Clinician.
Mike enjoys treating orthopedic and sports injuries in all patient populations. His individualized treatment plans involve both manual therapy and therapeutic exercise to help patients return to their prior level of function.
