FARMINGDALE — Former linebacker Steve Longa’s training schedule got accelerated on Jan. 26 when . Before receiving the Combine invitation, Longa had been preparing for Rutgers’ pro day on March 9.
“As soon as I got my Combine invitation, everything changed,” Longa said. “I knew I was going to get the Combine invite. I felt like I deserved it. But nothing is certain. I could feel some type of way about something, but people might have a different opinion, so I was on schedule for March 9.”
